Is this a project that you started in an earlier version and then moved to or did you start it in ? In System Options if you click on 'SoftPlan Symbol Location' are you using the default location or have you changed it to look someplace else? Thanks for responding. When I go to Draw When I exit SP and look in windows explorer at , for example, under 3D Symbols there are many, many billboard trees. Incidentally, I started this specific project in SP But this particular drawing in This is where the 3D models that are associated with Symbols reside. All Symbols would be in the SoftPlanSymbols folder. If you do not have symbols in your Symbols folder then perhaps they did not install or they have been somehow deleted.
Or the path is different than it was in and you are looking at the old paths when selecting existing symbols libraries. Note that in versions prior to version the base installation folder was named to match the version. In the base folder is simply SoftPlan. So when checking your libraries in Windows Explorer make sure you are looking in SoftPlan.
Try starting a new Project and see if you can find the symbols you are looking for while in the new project. If you can then note where they are and look in the same place in the imported project. If the symbols simply were not installed you can copy them directly from the DVD to the appropriate location.
I tried a new project I am using explorer to view files in Softplan, not other versions. I understand now, that what I am seeing in 3D symbols are models associated with proper symbols.
